Phentermine.

Phentermine is a medicine that can help you lose weight by reducing your food cravings significantly and making it possible for you to do with less food. Phentermine is supposed to be taken as recommended and must not be combined with any other medications without previously consulting your health care provider. The following medications are not supposed to be combined with phentermine because interactions are possible: insulin, diabetes medications, guanadrel, guanethidine, antidepressants, and medicines to treat high blood pressure. Phentermine is not intended for long-term treatment and is supposed to be used for up to 6 weeks only, unless your health care provider recommended doing otherwise. If you have problems with your thyroid, anxiety disorder, glaucoma, high blood pressure, heart disease, history of drug or alcohol abuse, diabetes, seizure disorder, or arteriosclerosis, make sure your doctor knows about it before prescribing phentermine. Mild side effects are common and can include diarrhea, dry mouth, unpleasant taste, vomiting, and constipation. Unless they go away on their own soon, make sure to report them to your health care provider.
